I will find this program. Hell, I will actually pay for it- which automatically elevates it above 90% of all existing software. Anything program that is the cause for a MS KB article called Kitchen: Selecting Blendolini Causes Choco-Banana Shake Hang deserves as much money as I can scrounge up. I don’t know why, but every time I read that sentence I start giggling uncontrollably.

I am going to generate some content, damnit. So, here’s the plan dad:

• book reviews
• recipes and pictures
• Code snippets/software spotlight/troubleshooting
• excruciating minutiae

Maybe this is real. I know I am sitting here. Sometimes I can feel my legs.

The old blog is done. I am not a programmer. I was not, nor will I, be proficient enough to write ruby plugins for Typo. The most ruby I can currently write are scripts to help me save time, and even then it is debatable that they are accomplishing their sole function. No more messing around with design. Plain, simple layout. I never posted any promised MP3s of me dicking around on the guitar. Perhaps I will someday, when I learn to be less critical of myself.

To paraphrase a truly enjoyable movie- “What is your function in life?”

I am a good person, now. I love. I am a good technician. I am not a programmer. I cook well, but photograph poorly. I am a decent musician. My voice is getting worse. I want a cat. Sometimes, my imagination gets the best of me. I am learning to live.

Perhaps I will show you how I am learning.
